The new Interfaith Blog

In my experience, using a blog for a group is a simple way to share information with others. The internet has always done that, but blogs make it easier. A blog is like posting something on a tack board in public. Everyone can read it. It's fairly simple.

"This is too hard / I'm too old blah blah..."

Blogger is made specifically for average (and below) users. Back in the old days (like, 7 years ago) having your own website required technical knowledge. Now anyone can have a blog even if they have absolutely no skills at all. There's even a blog about erasers. Isn't Interfaith more important than erasers?

Also, one way to gain the respect of educational and civic entities is to show them that this group is competent with modern technology.

"How do I post..."

Get a Google account. That's an email account with Google, basically. Go here to make one. It's free.

Then email me at ken131@gmail.com telling me what your address is and who you are. I will then add you as an "author" so you're allowed to start posts (we can't let just anyone do that). Bette Kauffman also has the power to add users.

Then if you log in at Blogger.com, you can then click "new post" when you're looking at the blog, or make a new post from your dashboard (what you see after you log in).

It's pretty straightforward, but here's a help guide if you need more information.

Things related to Interfaith. If you want to post pictures of your cat, go get your own blog. :-P
